Residence Deejays & Frissco - ECHO

Hopefully another hit from the band that brought you Sexy Love and Lovely Smile :

Residence Deejays & Frissco - ECHO

Blackpool 2 United 3

Blackpool 2 ( Cathcart 15, Campbell 43 )
Man Utd 3 ( Berbatov 72, 88, Hernandez 74 )

United moved five points clear of the chasing pack in the Barclays Premier League title race, but this was a far from straightforward three points as the Reds had to come back from a two-goal deficit and a below-par performance for almost 70 minutes of this clash at Bloomfield Road.

Ian Holloway’s side were 2-0 up and the better side at half-time, thanks to headed goals from poorly defended corners from Craig Cathcart and DJ Campbell. But with the home side’s tempo and energy expended, and with substitutes Ryan Giggs and Javier Hernandez providing pace and penetration, the final 20 minutes was all one-way traffic. Dimitar Berbatov got the first of two goals after 72 minutes, then Hernandez equalised before his Bulgarian strike-partner completed the turnaround with two minutes of normal time remaining – although there were ten minutes of added time to survive due to a serious head injury suffered by Rafael.

12 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About ‘The Social Network’

I'm pretty sure you've all read or heared or seen this movie. I don't find it as interesting and well made as Inception, I still can't believe it won Golden Globe ahead of Inception, but that's live:).
The movie won 4 Golden Globes:

Best Director - Motion Picture
David Fincher
Best Motion Picture - Drama
Best Original Score - Motion Picture
Trent Reznor
Atticus Ross
Best Screenplay - Motion Picture
Aaron Sorkin

And now, it is nominated at 8 catergories at Oscar Awards for:

Best Achievement in Cinematography
Jeff Cronenweth
Best Achievement in Directing
David Fincher
Best Achievement in Editing
Kirk Baxter
Angus Wall
Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures, Original Score
Trent Reznor
Atticus Ross
Best Achievement in Sound Mixing
Ren Klyce
David Parker
Michael Semanick
Mark Weingarten
Best Motion Picture of the Year
Scott Rudin
Dana Brunetti
Michael De Luca
Ceán Chaffin
Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role
Jesse Eisenberg
Best Writing, Screenplay Based on Material Previously Produced or Published
Aaron Sorkin

Now, here are 12 things you PROBABLY didn't know about this movie:

1. Justin Timberlake lost 15-17 pounds for his role as Sean Parker. He thought looking thinner would make him look younger.

2. In an interview with Diane Sawyer, Mark Zuckerberg revealed that Jesse Eisenberg's cousin, Eric Fisher, worked at Facebook.

3. In preparation for his role as Mark Zuckerberg, Jesse Eisenberg registered with Facebook two weeks before he began work on the movie. When the production wrapped, he canceled his account.

4. Every shirt and fleece that Jesse Eisenberg wears in the film is something that the real Mark Zuckerberg has worn.

5. After casting, David Fincher forbade principal actors from meeting their real-life counterparts until filming was completed. Justin Timberlake was the only actor who met his real-life counterpart, Sean Parker, during filming.

6. The original banner at the top of Facebook.com included a stylized portrait of a young Al Pacino. It was designed by Andrew McCollum, a friend of Mark Zuckerberg. The banner used on the website in the film uses a portrait of Jesse Eisenberg.

7. The Social Network is the first PG-13 rated film to feature two separate, unrepeated instances of the word fuck.

8. Natalie Portman, a Harvard student during the time of Facebook's creation, gave writer Aaron Sorkin some insider information about how things really happened on campus. Sorkin thanked her by referencing her in a scene.

9. The opening breakup scene with Jesse Eisenberg and Rooney Mara took 99 takes.

10. In a scene where Mark Zuckerberg is taking art images from a Facebook profile to fulfill an Art History class requirement, the Facebook profile he is viewing is that of Tyler Durden, a character from another film directed by David Fincher, Fight Club.

11. Mark Zuckerberg originally planned on never seeing the movie.

12. Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield became good friends during filming. According to Eisenberg, the dramatic rivalry between their characters was hard for the two because it affected them emotionally.

Ronaldinho Does it Again!

I think that you all remember the video above, the video where Ronaldinho hits the crossbar 4 times in a row. It was said to be a fake, I believe that as well... I still believe it.

But that's not what I want to show you:) I want to show you his latest "trick":)...he manages to scoare from behind tha goal:) That I'm sure it's not a fake, it can be done. With practice, it can really be done.

Anyway, here's the video, below:

Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc a.k.a. Xperia X12

Launched as the latest addition to Sony Ericsson’s popular Xperia range, the Xperia arc promises to be “the world’s most entertaining smartphone”. Previously code-named the Xperia X12, the arc is Sony Ericsson’s first Gingerbread-powered smartphone, offering a hoard of high-end tech and impressive specs. The handset offers a whopping 4.2 inch “Reality Display”, which uses Sony’s Bravia Mobile Engine to offer crisp and vibrant images at 854 x 480 pixels.

Despite its advanced touchscreen, the Xperia arc offers a curved chassis, measuring in at just 8.7mm thick at it’s skinniest point. It may not pack a dual-core processor, but Sony Ericsson’s latest Xperia handset has a hefty 1GHz Snapdragon processor under the hood, boosting its multimedia experience. This is helped even further by the handset’s 8.1 megapixel camera with Exmor R CMOS sensor and 720p HD video capture, its USB and HDMI connectivity and its beefed-up 1500mAh battery.

Once launched in Q1 2011, the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc will be available in both Misty Blue and Misty Silver.

Best prankes ever...i can't stop laughing=))...just hilarious=))

Animator Vs. Animation Funny Video!!!

way to funny=))...

Manchester United 5 Birmingham City 0

Illuminated by a three-goal blast of quite dazzling brilliance from Dimitar Berbatov as well as strikes from Ryan Giggs and Nani, United left nothing to chance in a ruthless display. Pity poor Ben Foster, the Birmingham goalkeeper on his return to an inhospitable Old Trafford.
Berbatov was at his lethal best, posting his third three-goal haul of the campaign to become the first Premier League player to register a hat-trick of hat-tricks in one season since Ruud van Nistelrooy eight years ago.

Well, it was a nice game, a well deserved victory, congrats Berba for your hat-trick, but guess what...I still don't like you:))...
Keep up the good work/form Reds, and we'll be UNSTOPPABLE.

Nvidia Thinks World Domination: Tegra 2 3D in February, Tegra 3 by Fall 2011

Current-generation Tegra 2 chips for smartphones and tablets include the AP20H and T20 SoC solutions, both built around ARM's 1GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 processor. They are to be replaced soon, however, with Tegra 2 3D architecture consisting of the T25 and AP25 chips for smartphones and tablets, respectively. Upping the CPU frequency to 1.2GHz and adding built-in support for 3D displays makes these chips the world's first mobile 3D processors, according to a leaked Nvidia's roadmap seen below.

Provided vendors embed these chips in their products, your next smartphone or tablet will come with autostereoscopic 3D displays that needn't special glasses, like on the recently unveiled Nintendo 3DS handheld, paving the way for gaming in stereo 3D on mobile devices.

LG Optimus 2X goes white

LG's Optimus 2X, the first dual-core smartphone on the market, will ship in a white version come February, according to the Korean manufacturer. The regular black model went on sale in LG's home country yesterday.

Ever since Apple failed to release a white version of it’s iPhone 4, manufacturers have been keen to create phones in white rather than black.

Will.i.am Launches Will.i.apps With First 360-Degree Music Video For The Black Eyed Peas

Every major music artist these days seems to have their own iPhone app, but the latest app from the Black Eyed Peas is like nothing you’ve ever seen before. The app (iTunes link, $2.99) lets you follow each band member’s Twitter feed with photos, pose the band members in a 3D photo shoot, and even does an augmented-reality trick (when you point the iPhone camera at the Black Eyed Peas’ latest album cover, a character representing one of the band members pops out and shows his latest Tweet in a speech balloon). But what is really original about the app, is the 360-degree music video.

The video for the song “The Time: The Dirty Bit,” puts you in the center of a dance party with the Black Eyed Peas and a bunch of fans. (An iPhone 4 is recommended to get the full effect with no jitters). As you turn around while looking at the screen, you are surrounded by dancers and the band members. You can pan left or right, all while the video is playing. It’s like Google Street View filled with hot dancers, but in video.

$10K iTunes Winner Hung Up On Apple, Thought It Was a Prank

I think you all know the story, Apple decided to reward the downloader of the 10billionth app. I'm still in shock that they've reached that huuuge number, but whatever:)..

Reall now, how dumb can you be?=))

Gail Davis of Orpington Kent hung up the phone when Apple called to say she'd won a $10,000 iTunes gift card. She thought it was a prank call.

Speaking exclusively to CultofMac.com, Davis says it was actually one of her two daughters who downloaded the 10 billionth app, winning the family a $10,000 iTunes gift card. Her daughters, 14 and 17, had downloaded several apps in the morning. One of them, the free Paper Glider app, was the magic 10 billionth app.

“The girls came down and said it wasn’t a prank,” Davis explains. “I had a moment of panic.”

Davis tried to ring Apple back, but got an clueless operator on the company’s helpdesk, who was ultimately unable to help.
“The more I thought about it, the more I realized it was a genuine call,” she says. “The girls were getting quite tense. They never would have forgiven me. They would have held it against me for all eternity.”

Luckily, an Apple executive rang back a couple of hours later.

“I was hugely relieved,” says Davis. “I was getting really worried.

Davis’ daughter downloaded the 10 billionth app at about 9.30AM UK time, or 1.30AM PST/4.30AM EST.

Honeycomb unwrapped: Google and Motorola talk Android 3.0

Pocket-lint sat down with Google and Motorola to have an intimate walk and talk through Android 3.0, the sweet Honeycomb platform that has been designed specifically for tablets. We’ve criticised some of the Android tablets currently available because the OS doesn’t make best use of the space available. Well that’s set to change when Android 3.0 hits the latest wave of tablets.

It sounds amazing, i can hardly wait to see the Motorola Honeycomb equipped tablet. It looks awesome, it moves amazingly fast, and i also like the new tablet made design of the 3.0 version of Android.

It seems we'll have some pretty nice thing coming this year, very nice.

Turning On an Audio Recorder Could Send You to Prison

If you are in Illinois, you better be careful where you point your cameraphone or voice recorder. Chris Drew, a Chicago artist, and Tiawanda Moore, a former stripper, are facing up to 15 years in prison for eavesdropping, according to a story in the Chicago News Cooperative. Drew used an Olympus voice recorder to commit his crime and Moore used her Blackberry.

Both are being charged under the rarely enforced The Illinois Eavesdropping Act, which makes it illegal to audio-record either private or public conversations without the consent of all parties. Illinois is one of 12 states with “two-party consent” eavesdropping laws on the books.

Most states have an exception for civilians recording police conversations in public. But not Illinois.
There is an exception in Illinois that allows law-enforcement officers to legally record civilians in private or public. But, not the other way around.

Nowadays, nearly everyone is carrying around a camera and phone capable of making audio recordings. As Adam Schwartz, an ACLU lawyer who has challenged the law pointed out, when “something fishy seems to be going on, the perfectly natural and healthy and good thing is for them to pull that device out and make a recording.” You might think twice about making that recording if you are in Illinois.:))

He Knows Best=)))

Rooney: Berba is tops

Manchester United's Wayne Rooney has lavished praise on his in-form strike partner Dimitar Berbatov.

Berbatov, that scored none less than 14 goals for United is on top of his form, says Rooney. He says that he's delighted to play alongside Berbatov, and that they get along on the field because of their time spent training together.

Rooney, though, demonstrates no signs of jealousy and is as pleased as anyone for his strike partner, telling nothing but good things about Berbatov.

What can I say, I respect Rooney, maybe he knows best...but damn, i don't like Berbatov at all. He's the slowest striker i've ever seen, tooooo laaaazy!!!!. He doesn't run down the field to retrieve balls, the's nothing more than a poacher, a weak one. If United will decide that Berbatov wont get a new contract, or he'll be sold, I will be more than happy:). We need an explosive striker, like new young brasilian starlet Neymar, or like Obafemi Martins, or Kun Aguero. Or Ferguson could let Chicharito play in the 1st eleven more often. But he knows best:)

How can you make a BMX Race more fun:))

Words are useless!

Giggs: "I am really looking forward to playing next year."

It seems like Giggs is ready for more, he is ready to play at full potential for at least one more year and he's waiting for a new deal from the club. Which i'm pretty sure it will come in these few days:).

I really hope he'll play for as many years as he can  for United, and whenever he will retire, to take Fergusons place as Reds manager.

Giggs is bidding to win a record 12th league title this season to go alongside his two European Cups and the countless other trophies on his mantlepiece. All of this has been achieved under Ferguson. And although their relationship has changed down the years, the mutual respect is obvious.
"It is good to hear praise from the manager," said Giggs. "He would be the first one to tell me if I was not playing well or my form wasn't good. We talk a lot more and we are a lot more honest with each other.

"He tells me when I am not going to play and gives me a little bit more notice now. It is a great relationship and one that has been a big part of why I am still playing."

Ruud van Nistelrooy apologises to Sir Alex Ferguson

Ruud van Nistelrooy has sought to end his rift with Sir Alex Ferguson by making a personal apology to the Manchester United manager almost five years since their working relationship began to disintegrate and the bitterness eventually led to his departure.

Van Nistelrooy told Ferguson he regretted the way he had behaved – the Dutchman once had a fight with Cristiano Ronaldo on the club's training pitch and drove home after he was left out of the starting line-up against Charlton Athletic on the final day of the 2005-06 season – and admitted he had contributed to the reasons why Ferguson had decided he had to get rid of a striker who had scored 150 goals in his five seasons at Old Trafford.

Ferguson, in turn, told the Dutchman the matter was now finished and that he is happy to end a rift that ignited after he was omitted from the Carling Cup final line-up in February 2006, and had been smouldering ever since. "I was really pleased with that," Van Nistelrooy said. "I told him: 'Those five years at Manchester United were fantastic, and working with you, and it's really unfortunate what happened.' I'm really glad it's finished now."

Relations between the two men became so fractured at one point that when Van Nistelrooy moved to Real Madrid for £10.3m in 2006 he cited the tensions as the only reason he had left Old Trafford. Nonetheless, they were also key to each other's success during Van Nistelrooy's time in Manchester and, in an interview with the magazine Voetball International, the Dutchman explained why he had waited until now before contacting his former manager.

"I had been thinking about it for a while and talking it through with my wife," he said. "Two or three times every year I would think to myself what a shame it was that it had ended like it did with Ferguson. I wanted to do something about it.

"My wife suggested I sent Ferguson a text to see if he was willing to talk and when I sent him a message asking if I could ring him he replied to say: 'OK, call me at this date and time.' I rang him and he answered and said: 'OK, fine, go ahead.' I said I wanted to apologise for what had happened and he replied: 'Fine, I appreciate that, when we meet again it will be OK.' That was great to know."

Van Nistelrooy had established himself as the eighth-highest scorer in United's history when he left the club for Madrid. After three and a half years in Spain he signed for Hamburg last January but is now in talks about returning to the Bernabéu.

Now 34, the striker is acutely aware he is coming to the end of his career and made it clear he retains an affinity for the club where he established himself as the most prolific striker in the Premier League. "If I encounter Ferguson again – and I really hope that will happen – I will embrace him and then it will all be finished."

Rafael fined and to serve one game ban for his red card!

As it looks, the referee gave him the second yellow card way to easily and thats the main reason for the short time "pause":)...He was also fined with 8.000 pounds and a warning about his future conduct following his actions in last week's 0-0 draw with Tottenham.

He is young, can and i'm pretty sure he'll manage to become a world class player, but he has to do something about his temper:). Well its good for United that he'll be up for the game with Blackpool:)
Maybe Fergie will use Wes Brown saturday, and he'll once more show his class and make Sir realise that he's a keeper, and also recieve a new contract in the coming weeks:)

Ferguson is not upset with Rafael, and he alsom made a joke regarding him, telling the press that maybe Rafael will play with Birmingham and that no one will notice that he'll be on the field ( maybe he'll ask him to lay low:)) ).

I am just glad that because his second yellow card, therefore red card, United managed to draw 0 - 0 with Tottenham.

Having Fun With Symbian, Nokia C7 To Be Specific.

What can I say, i'm not a fan of Symbian. I think they've done nothing, the OS improvement is minor, and that's not ok. I believe Nokia could have done better at menu customisation and so on. When you speak about Nokia with symbian, you're talking about the same old menu ( no matter if it's the lattest version of the OS or not ). What can I say, for me, these things do matter:). Maybe i'm a fool, maybe it's just me, but I think Nokia is behind Android devices, behind IOS, BadaOS, but good luck with Maemo 5 :) They really have to bring something else to the market, to keep up with the "others" :).

Anyway, untill that happens, some Amazing guys, managed to develop a software which gives you the possibility to remotely pilot a BMW car, using the Nokia C7. I have nothing else to say, just brilliant.
Check out the video below to see it for yourself:).

The Best Smartphone on Every Platform

Gizmondo released an article in which they've chosen the very best smartphone on every platform yet:)...
I agree with them to a point, at the blackberry choice i would go for Torch 9800. It uses blackberry OS6, that is supposed to be optimized for touch and slide. The touch revolution has started and the Torch 9800 looks quite ok, and GSMArena guys seem to take my side with THIS review:)
Also, with the android OS, both those smartphones are amazing, but lets not forget Samsung I9000 Galaxy S.
So, check out the winners in their opinion ( and mine, more or less:) ).

iOS: iPhone 4 (32GB)

Android: Epic 4G and HTC Incredible

Windows Phone 7: Samsung Focus

BlackBerry: BlackBerry Bold 9780

 Palm WebOS: Palm Pre 2

United targets Fabio Coentrao, from Sporting as a replacement for Evra!

It seems that Evra's future at United aint that sure, press linking him with a move to Real. Real or nor ( :P ), United are already looking for a replacement for him. And beeing the best club in the world, it is understandable to aim for the top players, or to some wonderkids:). Evra's contract is near the end at United, and he doesnt seem quite interested to renewing it...maybe he'll keeping all his options open atm:).

So, the main ideea is that Ferguson already found a player that should be the perfect replacement for Evra, and that has the potential to be way better than him. The players name is Fabio Coentrao from Sporting. It is said that the player is interested to a move at United, but the only hold back from the Devils would be the asking price for the player. It is around the sum of 20 million pounds. Maybe he's worth the money, but United is also "looking" sign Everton left winger, Leighton Baines, who is valued for way les than the 20 million pounds asked for Coentrao. Baines as also a good replacement for Evra, and he's already shown his talent in his games for Everton.

Whoever will come, whoever Ferguson will sign, it'll be just perfect. Love the prospect of United to sign young starlets and make them world class players. Long Live United!.

Also, another concern is that are not less than six players have about six mounths off their contract, and another nine with less than a year:).
And those are:

Summer 2011
Edwin van der Sar
Gary Neville
Ryan Giggs (talks planned over new deal)
Paul Scholes
Owen Hargreaves
Michael Owen

2012
Patrice Evra
Dimitar Berbatov
John O’Shea
Michael Carrick
Darren Fletcher
Ji-sung Park
Darron Gibson
Wes Brown
Tomasz Kuszczak

I just hope that Van Der Saar, Giggs, Scholes, O'Shea, Fletcher wont leave the club and i'm pretty sure they'll recieve a new offer from the club. Brown unfortunately, seems that he'll be leaving United, along with Kuszczak.

HTC Joins Tablet PC Group And Brings You Flyer

I think that is not that much of a surprise that soon, in March to be exactly, HTC will launch their first Tablet.
Others have already released their tablets, and some others have already announced their future to come ones, and now its HTC turn. It seems that we'll have none less than 3 tablets from HTC, but first to come will be Flyer.

Flyer is rumoured to be released with 2.3 Android, which you will be able to upgrade it to 3.0 Honeycomb whenever the OS will be available, and as for the designed it will look like an enlarged version of HTC's Desire smartphone.

Sounds nice, but let us see some demo's or pics, or whatever:)...

Flip Your Android!!

Behold the Future, a new and amazing smartphone that does not have one big screen, nor two...but three:).

And yes, you can flip it:))...i can already imagine people using a 5 screen smartphone, this is android equipped so the 5 screen one must be windows phone or IOS:)).

Anyway, the ideea itself its awesome, like the design, like the way it flips, love it that has android on, like the new "multitasking" ideea ( though different screen with different application is not quite multitasking, you get the ideea:) ). As you will be able to see in the video bellow, Kristian Ulrich Larsen ( the designer of the phone ) imagines some king of new bluetooth/wi-fi/whatever file transfer:). You just put your "Flipper" next to mine, and just "drag and drop" the file. Sounds nice, but i find it hard to believe that this awesome phone wont remain just as a " how i imagine the future" project.

LG LAUNCHES WORLD'S FIRST AND FASTEST DUAL-CORE SMARTPHONE

LG Optimus 2X: first dual-core smartphone launches with Android, 4-inch display, 1080p video recording.

The LG Optimus 2X sees a slight change of direction for LG’s Android line and one that we welcome. The Optimus, the Optimus One and the LG InTouch Max (GW620) were all mid-range in their approach, whereas the Optimus 2X is the very definition of high-end. In fact, Nvidia has labelled the phone a super phone. It’s a term we’ve used before, but Nvidia has now coined the expression for Tegra 2 equipped handsets.

The LG Optimus 2X is one of the first devices to arrive equipped with the new mobile chipset from Nvidia. With a history in graphics, it’s no surprise to find that the Tegra 2 chipset offers excellent on-board graphics handling, as well as the likes of Full HD encoding and decoding. The Optimus 2X was also shown off as the launch device on stage at the Nvidia press conference at CES 2011 in Las Vegas.

The LG Optimus 2X offers a 4-inch 800 x 480 pixel resolution capacitive touch display that is bright and vibrant and has really impressed us on each occasion that we’ve seen it. It pulls out average resolution specs for a device of this size, but it is great to see a run of enhanced displays on mobile devices. Picking up on the success of Samsung’s AMOLED display we saw last year, we now have a great selection out there offering more vibrant colours and better contrast. The 2X typifies this move, so it looks fantastic.

The screen is slightly tapered at the edges, meaning you don’t just hit a sharp edge at the side. The softly rounded back means it fits nicely into the hand but it is noticeably chunkier than the likes of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc. A metal band running down the back adds some degree of interest but perhaps looks a little unusual. Overall, from a design perspective, it isn’t the prettiest phone out there, but as they say, you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover.

Controls conform to the regular assemblage of touch icons across the bottom of the screen, offering menu, home, back and search, the usual Android configuration. Around the body of the device you’ll find an HDMI connector on the top, along with the standby button and 3.5mm headphone jack. On the bottom is the Micro-USB connector nestled between openings for the speakers.

On the rear of the LG Optimus 2X is an 8-megapixel camera, partnered with a forward-facing 1.3-megapixel camera. An LED “flash” supports the rear camera, which thanks to the processing power offered by the Nvidia Tegra 2 chipset, will capture 1920 x 1080 video, the first time we’ve seen Full HD capture on a mobile phone, but obviously pocket camcorders have offered this for the last year.

Full HD video capture is certainly going to eat into the memory, of which you’ll find 8GB in the device and the option to expand via microSD card (up to 32G). Offering Full HD video doesn’t necessarily mean it is “better” than those 720 HD rivals – we’ll have to have a good look at the quality of the result when we get the handset in for a full review. However, we checked out the camera menus and you can choose a range of options, something that LG have catered well for in the past.

The LG Optimus 2X was running Android 2.2 on display at CES 2011 and from the outset LG has been saying that it will be upgraded to Android 2.3, we’re hoping that happens before it starts rolling out to customers to avoid an immediate upgrade soon after purchase. Still, v2.2 offers many of the niceties of Android such as Wi-Fi hotspot and Adobe Flash support (something else that is natively supported by Tegra 2). Things like the new Android keyboard will be hidden behind LG’s Optimus skin, layered over the top.

LG’s interface doesn’t vary too much from the tried and tested formula, offering a number of customisable home pages to leaf through, dropping shortcuts and widgets as you go. Omnipresent are the four icons for phone, contacts, messaging and home. The duplication of “home” looks unnecessary, but you can often change this selection around easily enough.

All the times we tried the Optimus 2X it was snappy and responsive. There really was an immediacy to opening applications and navigating around the device, with very little sign of lag. Likewise, the multi-touch support was extremely smooth, making very light work of navigating around on the screen. Of course, we’ll have to get it in and live with it for a while before we’ll be able to pass a definitive judgement.

With Nvidia’s new 1GHz Tegra 2 chipset on board, we saw numerous gaming and video playback demos on the Optimus 2X. The HDMI output means you’ll be able to hook-up to your HD TV in the lounge and play Full HD movies so you can easily share the content you capture using the camera.

Nvidia has also announced that you’ll be able to get access to more advanced content through the Tegra Zone, its own platform for distributing content that wouldn’t otherwise fit in the Android Market. From what we’ve seen, the performance is really impressive when it comes to gaming and video playback, of course we’ll have to really put it through its paces when we get a sample in for review.

We also know from seeing the Advent Vega that the Tegra 2 performs impressively in benchmark tests, so we suspect the LG Optimus 2X will leave current superphones like the HTC Desire HD scratching their heads. Competitive as the phone market is, we don’t think things will stand still for any length of time and with Mobile World Congress coming in February 2011, we suspect you’ll be seeing plenty more Tegra 2 or new third-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon handsets.

Very nice, love it already...but a bit disappointed that it comes with android 2.2 ( even though the 2.3 update is right across the croner, they can release it with 2.3 ).
